Well we did it!!! The Lines Family finished there first year of school, Katelyn in kindergarten and Michel in preschool. I am definitely feeling a little older today I never thought I would have a kindergartner let alone a 1st grader. Where has the time gone? It felt like just yesterday she was crawling and learning to take her first steps, not learning to read and do math. Katelyn has accomplished all those things and many more this past year. Katelyn has always scored high in her academics, we are so proud of her and all she has learned and overcome this past year. Katelyn had a memorable year ranging from being chosen for a citizenship award and also being named student of the month for April. Katelyn went to all day kindergarten at Desert Mountain Elementary School, her teacher was Diane Albright. Katelyn made many new friends, and has been a friend to so many she is such a sweet and loving girl to all she meets. She loved riding the bus everyday with her friends and loved eating lunch in the cafeteria. We are very excited for Katelyn to be advancing into the 1st grade we know she will excel there just as she has in kindergarten. Michel however has just completed his first year of preschool at the Little Coyotes located at Queen Creek Elementary. His teacher was Ms. Arleen. Michel has grown up so much this past year, he went from never wanting to leave my side to asking when he gets to go to school. Before school started Michel never showed any interest in doing anything related to school but know he wants to do home work all day long(that will soon change I am sure). Socially Michel has grown into a fun loving young boy who befriends any one he meets. He made some special friends at school that he would often come home and talk about. I kept thinking this is not my little boy the one who would never want to play with friends he would rather play by himself. Wow what a difference a year makes. Mommy and Daddy are proud of both Katelyn and Michel words just can't express. We can't wait to see what the future holds for the future.
